These are some of the flowers I use the most around Mother’s Day; they’re popular for a reason. Over the years, I’ve noticed that it’s not always about the most expensive or trendy flowers. A lot of times, it’s about what feels familiar, meaningful, and easy to enjoy at home.
For example, we have clients who specifically ask for carnations every year. There’s one mother we deliver to annually who lives in a smaller home, and she really prefers a simpler and compact arrangement. She loves carnations, so we always make sure to have them in the studio around Mother’s Day.
When we design her arrangement, we keep it smaller in size so it fits comfortably in her space and doesn’t feel overwhelming. Carnations are perfect for that because they’re long-lasting, easy to care for, and still feel full and beautiful without needing a large design.
